Wow. Hoodie Allen. This guy is awesome.
I first heard him last year with his mixtape Leap Year. A brilliant mixtape with the best tracks being “#whitegirlproblems” and “James Franco”.
His debut album on iTunes “All American” is fantastic and is only £3.49 so it’s a bargain for 8 tracks of brilliance.
My favourite at the moment is “No Interruption”. I just love the way the song builds from a serious style and when it kicks in the piano chords give it a bit of cheekiness. The lyrics are mad by this guy as well.
Just to remind you that this guy is unsigned and last week he was in the top 10 on iTunes. Now that’s something. This guy is gonna be huge.
